01 / OVERVIEW

What this notice covers

RoadTab helps people plan road trips in Türkiye. This notice describes information handled when you create an account, choose locations and a vehicle, estimate a route and its costs, save or share a trip, or visit this website. The app’s features and service providers may differ by platform or availability.

02 / RESPONSIBILITY

Who is responsible

The operator responsible for RoadTab and its handling of personal data is Mustafa Gültekin. Privacy requests can be sent to mustafagultekin2013@gmail.com.

03 / INFORMATION

Information we handle

Information comes from what you enter, the device features you choose to allow, sign-in providers you select, and technical requests made when the app or website loads.

Account and preferences

Your email address, name if provided, sign-in details handled by account authentication or a sign-in provider you choose, and settings such as language, currency, and fuel-price preferences.

Vehicles and trip plans

Vehicle details and any photo you add; starting points, destinations, coordinates, saved places, selected routes, trip dates, estimated distance and costs, fuel-stop plans when used, and share-link records.

Location, photos, and technical data

If you grant permission and choose a location feature, the app can use your device location to set a starting point or determine a province for fuel-price settings. If you choose a vehicle photo, the app accesses the selected image. Providers may process connection, device, or diagnostic information needed to deliver their services.

Website visits and ads

This website has no account or contact form. Its hosting provider may process ordinary connection logs. Ads are planned for the first mobile release. When active, Google AdMob may handle consent choices and ad-related information such as IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or advertising identifiers, depending on the platform and your choices.

04 / PURPOSES

How information is used

RoadTab uses this information to sign you in, save your vehicles and preferences, find places and routes, calculate trip estimates, display trip history and spending summaries, plan eligible fuel stops, and let you create or revoke a read-only trip link. It is also used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app. Ad-related data is handled only where the ad feature is active and subject to applicable consent choices.

Processing conditions: Account access and the trip-planning functions needed to provide RoadTab are processed to perform the service contract. Service security is based on legitimate interests, subject to your fundamental rights and freedoms. Information needed for legal claims is processed to establish, exercise, or protect a right. Ad-related processing requiring explicit consent is based on a separate choice in the mobile app. Location and photo features use information only when you choose those features and allow the necessary device access.

05 / RECIPIENTS

Service providers and trip sharing

Authentication, data and file storage, and server functions are provided by technical service providers. Place-search and route requests are processed through RoadTab’s server functions and sent to location and routing providers. Map services may receive map requests on supported devices. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, that provider handles the sign-in process. If ads are active in a native build, Google AdMob may process information for ad delivery and consent.

When you create a read-only trip link, anyone with that link can view the shared trip information, including locations, route details, and estimated costs, until you revoke the link or delete the trip. Share links carefully.

06 / YOUR CHOICES

Your choices and rights

You can deny or change device location and photo-library permissions in your device settings. You can edit or remove certain vehicles, saved places, trips, and share links in the app. Some ad choices may be available through the app’s consent flow or device settings when ads are active.

Under applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to learn whether your data is processed, request access or correction, request erasure or anonymization where applicable, and raise a concern about improper processing. Send a request to mustafagultekin2013@gmail.com. Account-level deletion or other requests that are not available in the app should also be directed there.

07 / RETENTION

Retention and security

Saved trips and vehicles remain in your account until you remove them. You can request account-level deletion by email. RoadTab has a scheduled cleanup configured to remove unused route-quote cache entries after 30 days without a request; this does not set a 30-day limit for saved trips or vehicles. RoadTab uses account-scoped database access rules and restricted storage access for vehicle photos.

There is no fixed automatic deletion period for account records, backups, technical logs, or support correspondence. You may request deletion by email. Requests are assessed under applicable law, including any continuing legal obligation or need to establish, exercise, or protect a right.

08 / CONTACT

Questions and updates
